Other apps make you tick boxes.
Mo just listens.
A minute a day.
That's the whole system.
01Say what you want to start
Tell Mo, and it sets up a few small habits for you, each with a minimum version for hard days. Change anything before you start.
02Talk, any time
Tap the mic whenever something happens, as often as you like, and tell Mo like you'd tell a friend. Mo logs it straight away and shows you what it did. Change anything with a tap.
03Watch it add up
Days become weeks, weeks become levels. Miss one? Never miss twice and you're back on track.
Talk whenever.
As often as you like.
Over breakfast, at lunch, on the walk home, at bedtime. Each Talk adds to your day, and what’s already ticked stays ticked.

Built for real life,
not perfect days.
Talk it out.
Mo’s listening.
Rant about your day, ramble about your week, say it messy and out of order. Mo listens without judging, then works out what you did, how much of it, and where it goes. On a hard day the minimum still counts, and a missed day is a comeback, not a reset.

Good questions.
What is mode:Becoming?
mode:Becoming is a habit tracker, goal tracker and journal in one app, built around talking instead of tapping. Tell Mo, its AI, about your day and it ticks your habits, updates your goals, logs your mood and writes your journal entry for you to check. It's free to start, works in any country and currency, and runs on any phone.
Is it based on Atomic Habits?
It puts the same ideas into practice: stacking a habit on something you already do, starting with a two-minute version, never missing twice, and building habits around who you want to become. They come from James Clear’s Atomic Habits and the research behind it. What’s different is that you don’t track anything yourself. You tell Mo about your day and it does the logging. mode:Becoming isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by James Clear or his publisher.
Do I have to set anything up?
No. Tell Mo what you want to start and it sets up a few small habits for you, each with a minimum version for hard days and a reminder. After that you just talk: Mo ticks habits, tracks spending, notes your mood and writes your journal. Setting things up by hand is there if you want it, but you never have to.
Can I talk more than once a day?
Yes. Talk whenever something happens, as often as you like: after the gym, on your lunch break, before bed. Each Talk adds to your day, and what’s already ticked stays ticked. On the free plan Mo reads 10 Talks a day, and later ones are still sorted with simple matching. Plus gives you unlimited Talks with Mo.
How do you say mode:Becoming?
Becoming mode. It’s written like a setting: mode, set to Becoming. Search for it as Becoming Mode.
How is it different from other habit trackers?
Most habit trackers make you open the app and tick each habit by hand. With mode:Becoming you just talk about your day and everything is sorted at once. Every habit also has a minimum version for hard days, and streaks forgive an off day, so one miss doesn't wipe out your progress.
Who is Mo?
Mo is mode:Becoming’s AI, and the little face in our logo. Mo sorts your day when you talk about it, drafts your week, summarises it and answers questions about your own records. Mo is off until you turn it on, only reads what you allow, and never changes anything without your yes. Mo runs on Anthropic’s Claude.
More questions
What is Talk about your day?
Tap the mic any time and tell Mo how your day is going. Mo sorts it into habits you did, money you spent or saved, urges you beat, how you felt, habits you want to start and a journal entry. It saves straight away and shows you each thing it logged, so you can change or undo any of it the same day. If something’s unclear, Mo asks first.
Is my journal private? Is my data used to train AI?
Yes. Entries are private by default. Mo is off until you turn it on, you choose exactly what it can read, and private entries are never sent. What Mo reads is not used to train AI models. You can export or delete everything from Settings.
What if I miss a day?
That's expected. Every habit has a minimum version for hard days, streaks forgive an off day, and a missed day is followed by a comeback, not a reset.
Does it work where I live?
Yes. mode:Becoming works in any country and time zone, with goals in your own currency. Plus is priced in your local currency where we support it.
Who is it for?
Anyone 13 and over who wants to build better habits or break old ones. The community, your circle and shared stories are for people 18 and over.
Is there an app?
mode:Becoming runs in your phone's browser and installs to your home screen like an app, with reminders. Native iPhone and Android apps are on the way.
Small steps.
Main character energy.
Say what you want to start. Mo does the sorting.
